What do you mean by 3 layer paint job? Do you mean that there are 3 slightly different shades of yellow on the 458?

That's what Stuttgart has been doing for years also to discourage PI's but the world has adapted, there are now Porsche specialists popping up that can service the latest cars with limited dealership support....

and now Stuttgart has the "adoption scheme" acknowledging that they cant stop the tide of PIs bringing in these cars and the specialists that are now servicing these cars...

I wonder if the same will eventually happen to the lambos...

 

at the moment i think its a whole lot more difficult to service lambo and F. dun think anyone is equipped to do even a simple oil change...properly. i hv heard issues with those who changed oil outside..on the L.

 

Porsche population over the last few years has grown to a level which is enough to entice workshops to carry parts and service them. I doubt the volume for F and L car is enough to do that.

Anyone got photos of the Singapore DMC Delorean? (it was my uncles old car, recently sold) and also, anyone got photos of the Lamborghini Urraco P250S in singapore? (Its now with me in Australia, exported around 2004)

Read that the yellow that u see is a 3 layer paint...similar to pearl effect I guess. Yes,
the instrument panel is very modern. And looks great with lcd screens on both sides of the tach.

 

You mean PIs are ranked even lower than Hyundais? In other words, PIs will never be serviced as there will always be Hyundais in the workshop

 

On a side note, are tix needed to watch the PCCA?

 

There was a TNP article on the DMC before... Owner is a young guy iirc.
