Hello, I'm curious what the dimensions of the trunk are on a 360, and a Gallardo. I'm considering renting one when I'm in Florida this January (Rolex 24), but I'm concerned that I won't have the luggage space I'll need.

I'm also curious as to peoples opinions on why I should pick one over the other, or even on other cars I might consider. I've driven several Corvettes and Porsches, but never a Ferrari or anything of that level.

I'll most likely be flying into Orlando. If anyone has any suggestions on a rental company, I'm open to them. I know Gotham Dream Cars has a facility down there somewhere, and frequent FChat, but is there anyone else I should consider?

There is no Trunk... there is storage in the front though but you aren't putting anything in there, have your luggage fedexed to the hotel and back home and have fun with the car

Is it really that small? I've only got a carry-on sized bag and a small laptop bag (which can go in the right seat).

The 360 bonnet will accomodate the size of a half size spare tire, assuming there's no tool kit in it. You can throw the laptop behind the seats.

They will both fit in the front boot, if the carry on is soft sided. Any kind of hard cased luggage is gonna be a problem, although the coup has a space behind the seats that will handle a computer bag.

If there is no spare tire (and there usually isn't as it was an option) the front bonnet will fit two roller suitcases (the size that fits in overhead luggage on a plane) plus a few smaller items like a small backpack. You also have room for a duffle behind the seats.

it's not as small as people are suggesting. Of course, it depends on how much luggage you have, etc. You can fit 1, maybe 2 carry on size bags in there (as mentioned above, the roller type that fit in the over head compartment of a commercial airliner).

I used to take mine to go shopping and you can probably fit 2 or 4 brown shopping bags in there that are full. A good indication is this: go to a store that sells bedding and look at a CA King comforter in its little plastic case. That's approximately how much room you have :) You can also fit a laptop or two behind the seats in most cases.

Unless you are traveling light, then chances are the passenger is going to end up with something at their feet and/or uncomfortable. If you are taking your girlfriend and she travels with more than a simple carry on bag, you are probably out of luck with the 360 unless you are very clever about packing stuff :)

Here is a picture of what you are dealing with. The tool kit (on the right as you view the pictures) is approximately the size of a smaller brief case. The fix-a-flat on the left is maybe the size of a very large lough of bread (maybe a bit larger).

If the car has a spare tire (which is usually a fairly rare option), then you are totally screwed :) Otherwise, you may be able to pull it off. Keep in mind the hood of the car slopes downward, so there is more space (taller) in the rear (to the left) than in the front where it gets a little more tight.

As others stated it won't be a problem. There will be plenty of room.

There won't be a passenger, at least not between the airport and the hotel, so I'll have the right seat, I don't think there will be a problem.

Is there any opinion on which car to take?

The 360 has tons more space in the trunk. I just took a 360 Spider to the Dave Matthews Band concert in LA last week. I fit a medium sized cooler in there had plenty of room left over.

Plenty of room in the "trunk" for an overhead type roller bag, a racing helmet, and folding suit bag, spare oil and other soft items. Have done it many times.

Don't forget the spaces behind the seats. Plenty of room for soft sided narrow 5-6" bags.

The Gallardo is a day sailer, no room for anything larger than your gals cosmetic case and sex toys.

Plenty of luggage space. I use soft bags, you can fit 2 or 3 of them in there and her dress over the top. Also room behind the seats for a suit etc.
