Still not digging the front end..

Yup it was an enjoyable drive even though the traffic conditions weren't perfect and it got a little messy. For me, the main highlight was the Fort Canning tunnel run. The sounds of the 599, Gallardo SE and Murcielago in the tunnel were literally cargasmic.

Last but not least, here are some pics of the drive. Sorry for the poor quality though.

The tunnel was the highlight of my drive too man! Lucky the convoy behind got stuck in the little service lane, otherwise I'd never have managed to find the end point.

Hi, thanks for coming and sorry to hear something unfortunate like that happening.

I think many of us were unaware as our comms were out of range as the Harold the last sweeper slowed down and in any case the rest of us had no choice but to push forward.

It all made sense now since the above mentioned cars sort of broke up soon after.

Great to hear the brutherhood you received. .Kudos... btw the matte yellow is awesome even at night.

    Cheers!

Mick, hope that your horse will be up and strong again soon!

A good chance to start looking at another horse or bull to accompany it!

Mike, this is what the brudderhood is for. If I wasn't caught in the traffic, I would've helped you to push it. I think it happened to one of us before on a 348/55. Could be a blown throw-out bearing from your clutch or you mentioned something about the brake pump which connects to the clutch as well. I think it's time you get Ben or someone familiar to do a thorough check.

My priority would be wheel bearings & suspension bushes, arms, steering rack, brake system, flush & replace all fluids. There are aftermarket shocks that replace the expensive factory options that gives you sport/comfort modes (I would sacrifice that & go for much better ones) Set it up for street/track/semi-track, whichever is your style.

You might want to replace the oxygen sensors & relays as well when they are old. Clean the MAFs to give accurate readings for your ECUs. The manifolds & Cats are also known to give problems. Replace the fuel filters too. There should be a lot of dirt in there that'll foul your system.

Lung should be a better guy on 355s.

I seriously hope there's no speed cams in that tunnel :D

Anyway, I went back for a 2nd round near midnight & the traffic was much better.

Where do you guys go to put your name on the list for the 458? I just called IA today and the girl on the other end of the line said that the showroom wasn't even open yet so I couldn't do anything.

Brought the wrong lens dude. Anyway, for fast moving & changing light conditions, I set to "P", multi-zones, auto ISO etc. In short "Full auto" :D

Did some simple edit in PS for the carpark shoots.

Those under F1 lights should have higher F stops & reduced ISO so they appear sharp. Unfortunately, I'm a driver so can't take much.

was I missed as well? :(

where abouts in River Valley did you go?

I think I heard you .. I was sitting in a bar outside near the merlion and heard a V12 rumble. They turned the lights off soon after.

It really is a lovely car!
