    This is an odd one.

Apparently this guy has decided not to sell his car, but rather than cancel the sale. He keeps actively deleting *all* the bids, but people keep bidding. Depending on the timing, someone is going to end up winning this thing for between $1.00 and $30k, and then they'll have a mess on their hands trying to collect the car.

Don't know why the seller doesn't just cancel the sale.

    about 3.5 hours to go.

"wife taking car in divorce" is his reason for cancelling bids, he should just end the auction, what a mess.

strange... with 10 minutes left, it's at $49,100. I'll bet the guy starts deleting bids again any second.

Well, it's over. Seems to have sold for $49,100. Odd, since the seller deleted a bid for $50,001.23, in the middle of a flurry of bid deleting.

Seriously, why not just cancel it before, now someone is going to get their hopes up just to find out its not gonna happen.

By the sounds of things, from the seller's perspective, that'd be shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted... the wife obviously had the good one.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Don't you have to delete all the bids before you can cancel the auction?
