I'm pulling my Jeep out to Moab, Ut. I'm leaving Thursday night (Sept. 24) and plan on hitting the Denver area around Noon on Friday. Obviously, I take I-70 to Moab, Ut. My only question is, should I be concerned about snow and the roads this time of year?

    Thanks.

Actually I think it is snowing right now up there, but not nearly cold enough to stick to the road. Just expect wet roads.

This is the most useful tool of all:

    http://www.cotrip.org/roadConditions.htm

If you have a laptop, most rest areas/truck stops have free wifi so you can stop in and check the report pretty often. an iphone might work too, but I don't think a blackberry will load that page.

Your timing is great. Tomorrow is supposed to be the last day for mountain snow for a while.
