360 spider flaps wont come up

When the soft top folds away, the last thing to happen is that the flaps either side should come up. They dont. They are cable operated vie a small motor. I have played about with the limit switches I can find. Does not seem to make any difference. If I take the car for a run with the flaps down (which means the windows are not closed), after a while it behaves. Anybody any ideas. Anybody know if there is a particular limit switch I need to look at. I have lubed the flap rails. regards
