I am looking for a set of these to put on my 456. I love the look!

Also does anyone know if they are a straight bolt on or do you need spacers or modifications to make them fit correctly?

Michael- You and a whole lot of people are looking for a set at a reasonable price. They usually run $8-9K including tires when a set becomes available. They are straight bolt-ons, but you do need rear spacers to fill out the wheel wells a bit or they look sunken. Good luck. Nippy here gets a set on an irregular basis. If you buy new ones ~$13K from Ferrari without tires.

Henry has one wheel for sale in FerrariAds right now.

well, they are two piece. i have been buying single wheels when i can find them. not a set to be found unless you want to pay $3k each from ricambi.

i'll gladly swap my spare front for a rear.....;)

    Okay, here is an idea.

To get the modular wheels, I buy an entire 550 car that has them, swap the wheels with my 550, then sell the temporary 550 with my old 550 wheels on it.

As long as no more than a week goes by while I'm holding the extra 550, I'll probably lose less than $10k on it. :)

Toggie- Wrong wheels. 550 modulars are 18", 575M/SA modulars are 19".

For whatever reason, the bloody 575 19"modulars seem to be the most expensive wheels to find. 599 wheels are cheaper. Even Novitecs are cheaper at $6200 for new wheels.

    Interesting.
So, are the 18-inch 550 modular wheels available any where?
What do they typically sell for?

Toggie- 550/Barchetta modulars are also rare and expensive. Henry has a half set for sale, but even Nippy rarely sees a set and they sell quickly when one is available.

    Nippy......

Have you been talking to Rob Lay about paying for a commercial sponsorship of F-Chat for all of your clandestine commercial business activities on this board ?

Kds- We would appreciate you giving Chris a pass on this. There is no way any of us could find wheels at the prices he will give us. I will throw a $50 donation in the kitty if it will help to let it slide.

    Terry.....

It is not my board, so I don't get to make that call. If Rob is willing to allow commercial businesses to openly transact here for free, and then refund all the sponsor's money that has been paid for their advertising, so be it.

The value, or lack thereof, in this guy's business plan is irrelevant to the ethics of the question.

    Nothing personal Nippy.
