Yes and it was so see through it was pathetic at it's best.
When considering the most complained about thing in F1 is lack of overtaking, for ^ that alone I could cut Mosleys F-ing throat.

of course he is crying, he knows that 2008 was the only chance he had to be champion when ferrari decided to screw Raikkonen.

He knows that Alonso will be treated like a king, and realises he's never gonna be champion.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda, BS. If Ferrari had not f***ed up Massa's pit stop, he would have won the race and the championship. Piquet's spin, while pathetic, had nothing to do with Ferrari's screw up. They are independent events or, as we lawyers would say, there is no causal connection between the spin and the screw up. Get the hell over it!!!

PS: Hamilton had nothing to do with Crashgate, so why should he be penalized for someone else's cheating??

PSS: Isn't Massa pissing in his canteen with respect to his future teammate?

PSSS: I have a Ferrari, and I am a big fan having seen the F1 team in person since 1967, been through the factory, watched the Daytona 24 win, etc. I'm not trying to antagonize a pro-Ferrari forum here; I'm just trying to be fair.

Massa has every right to be pissed off! When you loose the championship by 1 point and looking back at Singapore knowing that one race made all the difference to the championship, I would be pissed off too. So give the guy some slack and let him *****.

Did you even read any of the comments in this thread? I think the general consensus is that Massa himself or the Ferrari team did more to hinder Massa's title chances than Piquet Jr.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

You don't have to read all the posts though...all you had to do was pay attention last season. ;)

Yes and I am commenting on the posts in this thread that are complaining that Massa is complaining. If Massa is admitting to the fact it was Ferrari that hurt his chances of winning the championship, then why is he even bringing up Singapore and Piquet?

 I suggest you read it again. But here's a summary:

Felipe Massa is not admitting that he bears personal responsibility along with his team for his 2008 Championship defeat. That's the point. He's now deferring blame onto Nelson Piquet Jr's actions at Singapore, arguing that this single solitary moment cost him the title when in fact there are numerous examples of mistakes made by Massa himself or by the Ferrari team, which cost the title effort far more points than Piquet Jr ever did. There's also no guarantee that Felipe's race would have been free of incident if Piquet Jr could have been prevented from deliberately hurling himself into a wall.

It's a shame that he's choosing to complain about it (especially when the result cannot be changed), as he had previously earned such phenomenal outpourings of admiration for the noble way he handled losing the Championship in Brazil at the end of 2008. It's futile - and that's why people here are unimpressed to see him complain.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Why would you presume that they would remove the whole race results instead of just DQ'ing the Renaults? Nobody else cheated... they all ran a given distance in as short a time as they could. That the Renaults cheated wasn't anything to do with the other teams.

If they DQ'ed Renault, Massa gives up 2 additional points to Hamilton.

Massa is being a little cry baby and should STFU.

What about Massa being robbed by his own ineptitude in other races?

Why is it only the places the team lost points that matters, but where Massa lost points is forgivable? And for that matter, why is it only where Massa lost points due to the team that is counter, but where Lewis lost points due to the team isn't included?

Revising history is pointless. Hamilton won fair and square. Massa lost. There is no asterisk or footnote to that, just like there isn't on the 2007 WDC either.

I dont think in the article, Massa said that the title was his. I think he's just frustrated that the FIA took 1 year to react to the news, and for PK to take so long to report about this incident.

Alonso should be equally ticked. If Flavio had concocted and repeated the 'Singapore slam' race after race earlier in the year, Alonso would have been WDC in 2008 and Jr. would still be at Renault. ;)

...and why is that the "journalist" conducting this "interview" can't follow up Massa's ridiculous accusation of being cheated out of the title with questions like yours?

That's right - they'd never get another interview.

Brian, Massa should be questioning why Mosley didn't act at the time he was made aware of the event, which was a week or so after IIRC.

A quick look at the telemetery would have shown further investigation needed, but oh no he kept it up his sleeve...bye bye Flav.

There were too many "what-ifs" and this would count as one of them so no he was not robbed as thats how everything played out making it time to move on.

What a crock. Plenty of things prevented him from being a WDC.

If I had been born rich, I could have been a F1 driver as well. Didn't happen, and I am not crying aboot it.

When it comes to blaming teams...I think Alonso will take care of that. Basicaly Massa has a point. That race should be nul and void. It was fixed period. When it comes to whinning...who was the first one to go to the media and scream that the WDC was still his? Yep it was Hamilton....and now that Massa has a legit point, some of you say that he is whinning ect ect. Yes pleny of things were screwed up by the Ferrari team and even Massa during the year but that is all legit and part of the race but race fixing and cheating is not. Some of you conveniently overlook that right Andreas. This forum really shows who is a Ferrari supporter and who the trolls are.

He should look into the mirror and ask himself:

Why didn't I drive better in Sepang or Silverstone?

Not blaming others or other events that occurred. What kind of sportsmanship is this?

IMO it was the correct decision that the race was not voided. All the other teams competed legitimately. So why should their points be taken off? The only thing that was fixed was 1st place.

Please provide a link to the article where Hamilton was "the first one to go to the media and scream that the WDC was still his"???

Why does Massa have a legit point? Why would they nullify the whole race? They wouldn't. They would exclude the people who cheated - that's what they always do, and have always done. Throughout F1 history, when someone cheats, they get DQ'ed. I don't remember a whole race EVER being nullified just because one team cheated. But I can remember plenty of DQ's for breaking the rules.

So you are suggesting Massa was right, based on something the FIA has never done and would never do... yet you ignore the fact that if the FIA did what it has always done, and what has always been the standard penalty for the infraction at hand, that Lewis would have won by an even greater margin.

So who is the troll then?

one sided is right brutha! but sure, void that race! while they're at, the FIA should go back and give Hami all those points that he was denied (now that was 'fixin')! also, they should...eh, you get the point. as i said before... those who said they wouldn't support Ferrari if FA was ever signed (there were quite a few iirc), you all can go swivel (thanks Hami) :) but since i have a funny feeling they'll still be here, this is fair warning..

you are going get ripped every single time. :)

He is a stupid idiot and whiner. I can't wait until he no longer drives for Ferrari.
