    It's rare to see David Beebe on a bass guitar, he's a drummer, both of us are....we ran down South Main once, carrying his drum kit between clubs..

    Wow....ya'll go to that website, the Utube video links posted there, show Kelly Willis and Amy playing Letterman, some of Kelly's studio videos, Amy playing with the Hollow Trees.

    I had never seen those before, since I do not have a television, in my dome tent....

    With the sudden and tragic death of Austin native and revered musician Amy Farris last month, friends and fellow musicians of the beloved fiddle player plan to come together for a night of music and rememberence set for October 21 at Austin's Continental Club. The line up is as follows:

    Dave Alvin and the Guilty Women
    Kelly Willis
    Exene Cervenka
    John Dee Graham
    Jesse Dayton
    Damon Bramblett

    The show will begin at 9PM with a very special violin performance by some of Amy's former students.
