A prior thread mentioned something about there being a "soft" tubi and a "louder" tubi available for the 360- is the "360 spider" the soft tubi? I see the 360 spider tubi on a bunch of coupes....

360 is for the coupe, while 360 spider is for the convertible. People who are installing "360 spider" on their coupes either bought them used and/or don't pay enough attention to what they are doing with their cars.

Tubi does make an exhaust for the 360 that isn't as loud as their "normal" one for the US market. When I spoke with Lou at Tubi, he mentioned it once. I believe it was sold to the Swedish market, where sound levels are more closely controlled on cars (or something to that effect).

Is there any difference beyond one exhaust saying 360 and the other 360 spider on it?

I've had both the more quiet, Stage I Tubi and the louder, Stage II Tubi.

Both exhaust systems looked EXACTLY the same. To my eye, aside from a serial number which likely explained they were different, there was no visible way to tell.

The box the Stage II Tubi came in was stamped "LOUD" on the outside.

Both said "360" on the canister.

Ok, I know it is better to stay quite and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt, but I my spider's exhaust says "360 Spider," but it is a stock exhaust right, not Tubi?

You have a Tubi...the stock is a boring looking rectangular box with a hand imprinted on it to represent "dont touch"!

If you like the way it sounds, it's likely not the stock exhaust.

Well, indeed I love the way the exhaust sounds. I had no idea I bought a car with Tubi exhausts. I always read how people say they are too loud, but they are not that loud and not as loud as the upgraded sport exhaust I put on my Aston Martin roadster when I had that car.

Here is a picture of my exhaust. So these are Tubi?

I've heard the upgraded exhaust on the AM Roadster and you're right... it's really loud. Looks like you've got some nice upgrades in your engine compartment... someone spend some coin doing that work.

    Enjoy!

I put the air boxes on myself, but it seems the Tubi alone cost $5k. However, I do not think people are getting a premium for cars with Tubi. Perhaps it helps them sell faster, but in my experience buying and selling cars, options don't really let you premium price your car in a market like this, whereas color might, and certainly miles would.

What extra bits I KNEW my car was comming with were Scud shields, clear bra everywhere, 2 piece BBS rims, F1 tranny, Daytona Seats with 2 tone inserts, upgraded sound, and red brake calipers.

The Tubi don't impact horsepower does it?

The roadster I had was not the AMV8 Roadster, but an '02 DB7 Vantage Volante. It was considered a direct competitor to the 360 Spider. The stock exhaust on that thing sounded very nice, like a jet engine. But the Sport Exhaust sounded like a lound angry growl. It was a complex melody of robust lions and tigers and bears. Best sounding car I have ever owned.

probably wont make any difference to the h.p., you may get a few more h.p. with hyperflow cats or test pipes though. :)
