Could I also get a copy of the route, since I haven't seen or driven it at all yet. I'd like to at least have an idea before we hit the 11th hour on Saturday. As for Saturday, who else is going to be there for any last minute "crew" duties? I still need to run the route, and get any info on my role as a camera and/or group leader.

    Lane,
You had said the run would be about an hour, but it might now be shortened by 20 minutes? I didn't sign up because the wives will be with us, but if it's going to be shorter maybe I can convince them to go along, or at least hang around the casino and lose money while we're gone. Will I need to change my registration?

The last rendition took us through downtown mystic which was both a traffic nightmare and a bit boring for the drivers. The new version is MUCH more pleasing for the driver and a bit more country road, leaf peeping freindly. Regarding a change to your registration, I'll look in to it. and PM you details. I saw your name (and Bretts) on the reg but didn't know you were out for the trip.

As commented in the roll call thread, a slightly earlier arrival will be better. I recommend leaving Gbury at 9:30. That 1/2 hour will make a huge differance to Ed and myself with the check in evolution.

9:30AM works for me. I will be there in the Black 308 if weather holds... that will be the final run of the season before I start tearing into the oil sump cover to replace the one that is cracked and other off season projects.

good ... works for Jay too .. he is here right now. We have the bumper off the 430 trying to install air horns ... hitting some snags ... been at it 3.5 hrs ... certainly will have to regroup and pick it up tomorrow.

At least this shouldn't take as long as his DIY major last winter taking 5 months ... I need the car back together for Sunday

Are you kidding? apologize? he said its fun ... I really think he is looking forward to the point when we drill into my car.

seriously, he is a good guy and I appreciate his help. There is no way I would have attempted this on my own.

Our goal is a proper sounding Ferrari horn for this Sunday! :)

Ummmm.....Speechless. I must be better than I thought. I will have to get my checkbook out and get ready to buy the wife a tennis bracelet. ;) With all the trouble we have coming on Sunday I am not sure who can run blocker for who! Is that a bell I hear tolling.....

It's all fun and games until someone losses........a house, cars, bank accounts ;).

You're going to need something better than a tennis bracelet for this one.

The weather channel is still saying high of 51 with 40% chance of showers on Sunday. That does not sound very good for the Foxwoods event. Rain is expected to start Thursday night and run through Sunday with Friday being the worst. It has been vascillating for the past 3-4 days between 30% and 60% chance of rain on Sunday. Sure hope this forecast improves soon.

Yes, don't like those raindrops in the long term forecast! A lot can change between now and then, there's still hope :)

There is always hope but it would be a shame to have a nor'easter ruin what should be a great event
