Great 308 era factory video (italian)

Essentially, they were enumerating on how way cooler these 308's would be compared to the future 355's the "capatosti" were busy designing!

The skill those guys have assembling those georgeous machines. The front header was on. Wow! I tried for a while to get a 308 motor in with the front header. For fear of very $$$ damage, I pulled it and set it in the engine bay to install later. I recall having the bell hsg on, but can't remember if I had the A/C compressor on.

I would have loved to see them drop in a 512BBi motor with BOTH alternators and the bell hsg.

 

Just watched again. Are the front bank headers on, or is that only the side heat shields under the balancer?

Not positive, but I think I saw cuts of this video on the "How its Made - engines" on TV. Me? TV time waster? You betcha!

 

I love the little lady who is cleaning up the sand cores for use in the foundry!

 

There always seems to be one of those guys. They bite the big one and clearly don't get the point.
