Despite his recent efforts, when it comes to shooting straight, Massa has still plenty to learn from Salo.

Ex-F1 driver Mika Salo was harsh in his criticism of former McLaren boss Ron Dennis. In his interview with Radio Rock on Friday morning he told that McLaren was the wrong team for Kimi Räikkönen because of Dennis.

    - Maybe that has changed now that Dennis has departed. He has always been a real prick, at least ever since I’ve been involved with F1, Salo told.

    - You can tell by his appearance alone. He looks like ******, Salo slammed.

Salo had his memories of Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo too who escaped similar criticism by Salo. Salo drove for Ferrari during the 1999 season.

    - I really didn’t do any PR work aside from participating in his political functions and I didn’t understand a single word because I didn’t know Italian back then.

    - Montezemolo is quite media hungry but otherwise a really nice guy, Salo said.

I always thought that Dennis ran Mclaren much like hitler would do it. Never liked him, at all.

    HAHA lol!

I wish they had asked him about his relationship with Todt, particularly the 1999 Hockenheim decision to let Irvine go by.

I must say that i have been quite surprised by how pleasant Mika S always was to my kids at all the ALMS races when they asked for autographs, etc.

Always a plus in any sports person.

I remember being just a young boy, about 10 years old maybe and I saw Jos Verstappen walking at my local track. It was a testing day so there was hardly anyone about. I asked for his autograph (like young kids do) and he basically told me to F off. NEVER liked him after that.

Jan Lammers on the other hand is a very pleasant guy...We bought his house years ago and he gave me his drum kit, a cool clock (made out of a steering wheel out of one of his race cars) and a bunch of other stuff...he always let me in when he was testing with his le mans team in the pit etc. Sound chap.

    I was only 10:( lol.

If he had said the same to my little brothers, or if I had a kid, I would have kicked him in the jewels though.

I like Mika - always says hi and/or waves and doesn't beat around the bush....just wish we'd see more of him instead of just Sebring, LeMans, Petit. Perhaps with the minor increase in race time at Laguna Seca, he will be there too....well one can hope.

I like him too. Was great meeting him together with you. :)

If I dig hard enough, I might even find a pic somewhere of that moment in time.

I'm surprised Mika could ever understand anything Ron Dennis said to him with all the "Ronspeak".

Ronspeak: Why use one word when You can use twenty?
