    Solution;
Create a plastic life size replica of Kimi. Have an actuated arm that reaches up to pick at its ear every so often. Get someone with a microphone and ear jack, at a distance, to mumble nonsense through a speaker in its mouth.
    No-one would know the difference.
    Win-win.

Kimi has no personality, no wit, no intellect at all, and I'm sure he hates PR events because he does not know how to converse with other humans in a meaningful manner! He mumbles incoherently and never has anything interesting to say! He's not so much an egotist as an anti-social, uneducated car driver. It's painful to hear him talk in his rare interviews because he has a pitiful speech impediment and does not seem to have a coherent thought process--he sounds like he is just an anti-social person. I'm sure he knows this, and can't stand talking to fans/people because he doesn't know how to and he's embarrased to appear in public and HAVE TO talk to people! Peter Windsor always seeks out Mark Weber, Fisichella, Rubens and Trulli in the pre-race show because he knows Kimi is like talking to a rock in interviews! He's a public-relations nightmare/failure!

Nice of you to post. Mr Shrink..."he has no personality..." he's 'anti-social'..isn't that part of his personality? Maybe he hates going near someone such as yourself? Maybe he hates pr events because he hates 'intellects' or self -important elitist pricks..of which there are prob many in the F1 biz...Hmm....And PW...he is a tool, always buggin' people that don't want to have anything to do with him before a race..

Hate to be rude? Well you did quite a swell job of it, didn't you? You confirmed your idiocy by hurling an insult (the kind you hurl on the internet) when merely stating your differing opinion would have sufficed.

I stand by my statement 100%. Hard to tempt or motivate someone who already has everything, which includes a WDC at Ferrari. What carrot could you dangle in front of Kimi? Motiviation should come from within. But if it's gone.........

    Howdy Doc....

Kimi has no wit? we don't see it often(lots of different TV stations in many languages), but he makes jokes quite a lot, which offcourse a shrink (and most others) won't understand.

Kimi and uneducated car driver? excuse me while I ROFL, but Mclaren has commented he is one of the best drivers out there, AFTER HE LEFT THE TEAM!! and would take him back in a flash.

Of course he doesn't talk to many people because most of them are pretentious ball licking idiots who talk rubbish behind his back, like you (and once again, many others) make that nice comment about his speech. NEWSFLASH DOC, not the whole world speaks bloody english! English is very little spoken in remote places like scandinavia has a lot of.

I'm sorry, but there are a lot of pure BS comments about Kimi. apparently he's demotivated, because he doesn't talk much. Many don't like him because when he speaks, he 'mumbles', and therefore he's an idiot.

Yes, I am a big fan of him, I understand his humour...I like bernie's humour too. Many don't get that either. I don't constantly bash other drivers which is dislike all the time like hamilton or Alonso, both WDC's because they're having crap cars they can't do anything with.

Hi guys, new member here. I've been reading this forum for a while, lurking, felt that posts like this one need correcting.

Frankly this post is incredibly disrespectful to Kimi and appears to make him out to be some sort of neanderthal who just happens to be able to drive a car fast.

For a psychiatrist to make this sort of assessment based on what he has seen on TV is ridiculous and verging on being unproffesional.

It's well known that Kimi is a very private person and only a select, trusted few who have known him for years get to see the real Kimi Raikonnen. It's also well known that he hates the whole media circus so he deliberately mumbles in interviews and is awkward to deal with because he knows it puts people off interviewing him, and it works: " Peter Windsor always seeks out Mark Weber, Fisichella, Rubens and Trulli in the pre-race show because he knows Kimi is like talking to a rock in interviews! ".

As for being anti-social and unable to communicate with people, how did he get his party animal image then?. Martin Brundle (who probably knows Kimi better than anyone on this site), has said many times that whenever he's been out with Kimi, you can't shut him up, it's just non stop chat and jokes.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a die hard Kimi fan but while he drives for Ferrari, he gets 100% of My support, as does any other driver who drives for Ferrari, regardless!.

Any driver would accept doing PR crap to get a good drive. But I can understand Raikkonen, he probably said: "I already have enough, so if I´m going to stay, it´s only for the fun".

Why would any team want Kimi ! Just review his performance today, that's why. Did you see him coolly continue racing after the fire incident in the pits. He's one cool driver !

As for is personality, I'm told by a good friend with insight into the F1 team that on the plus side, he's very down to earth and doesn't travel with an entourage, unlike Massa (for instance, at a team party he will go and get is own plate, which Massa won't do, since it's beneath him). So yes, the people involve in the team love him for this, but at the same time, he's very very shy/quiet and this as cause certain headache at the start of the relationship, since he would not address certain team members, like the previous drivers had.
