    Thinking of putting a shift light in the dash for track days. MSD or Autometer. Where do you pick up the tach signal? Do you need any type of signal adaptor for the light?

    I use this one for track days. It doesn't work as well as I thought. Sometimes it shuts off. It's wired into the tach. I have a soft rev limiter. I use that instead of the light.

    Thanks. The shift light gets to hot and starts blinking. Other than that it works.
