I need to ease up. I'm about to cross 19K miles after buying with 17 & change a month ago. Every sunny day it's best to take the long way home. I'm new to Ferrari's and I'm sure I'll get spanked on resale time, but if you buy these things at a good price and drive the heck out of them for 10 years, who cares if you get a dime back.

Bill, you are 100% correct mate! :D:D

Im with you, if you keep the car for 10 yrs then who cares about how much money you will lose on it. As long as you enjoy it for those 10 yrs then it doesnt matter! :D:D

Its those who buy and sell cars every 2 yrs that get pararnoid about resale value! :D:D

Keep driving the wheels off that car mate and I hope you enjoy every mile of it!:eek:

    DRIVE, DRIVE, DRIVE, .......

I've got a 308 with 85K and a 456 with 57K on the clock ---- when I'm done with them, I don't care if I have to pass them to a parts breaker for scrap value :)

I do have them both parked for a while to catch up on maintenance. So, I'm going to start racking up miles on the 355 and a, newly acquired, Lotus Esprit. Same will go for these cars, too...... I'll drive them until they hit triple digits on the odo, or until they drop ---- whichever comes first.

:) Thats great news, forget about future resale values. Dont be one of them owners strung up on that nonsense, use the car.
I put 2,300 miles on mine in 7 days this july. Go for it and do another 1500 :)

... otherwise you're just keeping the miles low for the next owner.
