A search only provided bit by bit explination of changing door sills... The rubber seals on a 430 and 575 keep getting lose. None appear broken, just keep popping off. 430 driver side below window. 575 high driver side, on window and also under the hood in one of the intake holes leading to the engine. Just curious if anyone has had to have done a quick fix with such a problem and their experiences?

Some descriptions state using a spray glue from a normal hardware store with tape to avoid any excess. Would think the heat from the engine would kill this chance for the engine prob.

    Thanks.

Super Glue is excellent for gluing rubber.

Make sure to clean the surfaces well to remove anything (new glue doesn't stick well to old glue) that will compromise the bond. This is particularly important with new rubber parts as they are coated with a release compound when molded.

That's what I use, seems to be very solid after several years in place on the door seals of my 400i.

Ditto. It's made specifically for trim and seals. As noted, read and follow the instructions.

Ive done a few resto projects over the years and Super WS Adhesive is dammed good.. but trust me on this, I stopped using SWSA after using this product..

The packaging is BS, its ALL the same product.

Difference from SWSA is, that it isn't a contact adhesive, so trim (or whatever) needs to be taped in place until it sets.. it is 100% clear, inert, and bonds like nothing I have seen.. and its removable by simply peeling it off.. leaving no residue!!

You will find lots of great uses for the stuff.. like the marketing states..

Charlie and all the others, thank you for suggesting this. It has worked great and am using it on other cars with lose seals, door sills, etc.

You know the 3M stuff comes in yellow, and black. Sometimes that's beneficial.
