Guys, tell what you think and see here. It may have been disscussed, I don't know. I've known about this early Espada with a corvette motor for sometime now. Asking 17,500, which is way too much imo. But if the price is right and the body is very good....needs interior and a 4liter V-12.......
    Tell me your thoughts?

Let me add that it is at Gullwing Motors in NYC, Queens. I considered their Urracos but was weiry about the place.

Well I had to for a number of reasons.I might buy something New later on.
I am realy glad that we worked out the "small"issuses with the engine.
The worst part was the Cylinderhead that we had to weld, and work on-and to do it several times. Also to get the right allignement.

To pressure test it maybe 10-12 times a 130 Euro a pop. What solved it was the Vacuum impregnation done in an owen several times. And them finally it was tight. 100%
We had to do some work also on the manifold also+change one pistonhead.

Cleaned and checked all webers etc.
There was a time when i thought that we had to buy a new cylinderhead, but then i would have needed work also. Then to put back al the parts in the cylinderhead..

It was easier on the other side just "change" of the gasket, but still a lot of work.

The Electronic ingition system is just great btw.Worth every penny.

Still we made a good effort to make this Lamborghini run much better then ever before.
And I have learnt a whole lot of experience also.Wich I also can share with other enthusiats.

Its hard to say when you are not there. But judging from the pictures,it looks pretty good.Straight and nice.No dents no visible rust.Check everyvere!Hood is aluminium though.
A S1 sold in the States with the uggly bumbers. Also the interrior looks that it can be fixed,
but it will cost a few bucks. You probably dont know anything about the tranny synchros etc.Where is the original V12 engine?

It could be a nice car../Patrik Sweden

Are there no other S1 cars for sale? I would start with one of those first.

I'm sure there are other S1 in the US for sale. I happen to like the unusual colors of the green and gold with tan leather.
Miura mats? Maybe there is a cheap miura tucked away in that dark warehouse ;)
