Geeze Daniel! I hope all this good karma you gave out just now comes back to you double. Your Fchat fans here are deep and many. You know that if you needed a hand we would all step in and help. You will meet many jealous vindictive people in business. Only the minefield of experience will teach you how to sidestep them and only experience will teach you how to live next to them. There are many more quiet good people who respect and value what you do than the few loud naysayers no one wants to be around. so if you haven't heard it in a while...Thanks Daniel for the awesome service you provide.

Daniel is the epitome of customer service. There was a time not long ago when I thought a part was bad--it was even an electrical part which NO COMPANY ever offers returns on--and he overnighted it. Well, turns out it was something else. Do ya think he left me up S&#$ creek without a paddle? Hell no...He allowed me to return it for a full refund.

You just don't see service in then world like Daniel.

And, no, I didn't get in on any of the deals he just gave out.

    Cheers to Daniel!

Top guy and probably the best customer service I've encountered. He goes out of his way to help people when he can just as easily say "I'm busy".

Don't let the ****t get you down mate. It's his loss at the end of the day.

    Wow, missed this thread yesterday.

It really pisses me off that someone, anyone could be rude to Daniel. He is the absolute epitome of professionalism and, unlike the vast majority of business owners today, strives for perfection, rather than mediocrity. I have never, ever dealt with any company or business (in any field) that even comes close to the level of excellence displayed by Daniel and Ricambi. This is why no other Ferrari parts supplier can ever surpass him.

Daniel, always remember that you have a great, thriving, growing business and a beautiful wonderful family. In addition, you have a huge FChat fan base that thinks the world of you. So don't let the occasional cretin get you down. It's O.K. to tell customers like this to F-Off, you don't need their business.

Thank you all for you kind words. Really, it means a lot to me. I started this company really from the ashes/dirt/dust of Sodacoms (anyone remember them?), and owe 100% of our growth to FerrariChat and the honest, decent, enthusiastic, friends I've found in this community. Sometimes it might not seem like it, but I'm also a Ferrari owner who just likes to punch the throttle under a bridge, pretend I'm Michael Schumacher, fix something with my own two hands, and drink a coffee while hanging out with other car guys on a Saturday morning.

I am a paranoid workaholic entrepreneur who takes *every* transaction as a personal referendum on my self-worth. It is a very very unhealthy business practice, but I can't seem to shake it. It will, I'm certain, ultimately limit the growth of the company -- but I think that's o.k.

Sometimes, I wish I had a forum where I could vent more about some of the frustrations, risks, and fears I have about Ricambi -- but I always delete my posts quickly for fear of exposing any weakness.

Again, no need to respond to my above statements. Just please accept my deep appreciation for everyone's kind comments.

    -Daniel

p.s. My stomach is killing me. My head literally feels like a brick hit it. I'm going for Advil now. But damn, I love some "10" and Canada Dry.

Being a business owner is tough, hard work that often takes a physical toll on those brave enough to try it. I respect everyone who endeavors on the opportunity. Or would 'endures' be a better word choice? I hope things look up for you soon!

Hang in there Daniel! For many of us on Fchat you're the only place to go for parts - with your awesome customer service I don't see a need to call anyone else. Your hard work is definitely appreciated!

Wow, what a charity event for Ricambi. I hope you get a decent tax write off for all those give-aways, Daniel. Anyone giving Daniel and Ricambi any grief and they are from these boards, should be tarred and feathered and slammed into obscurity. You are right Daniel, it doesn't take much to remain civil in a call about a product or service. Demanding stuff gets you no where. Some people have such fragile egos that they think they need to blast another person to get their point across. Napoleons! Stalins! Attorneys! (Oops, let that one slip) :)

Ricambi and Daniel provide the greatest support for us. I almost feel like I need to purchase something, but can't think of any current need. BTW, I do Alka Seltzer Cold for hangovers. Tanqueray? What are you a glutton for punishment?! Switch to the Goose for an easier hangover. :D

    Hangover Prevention 101

If you want to mitigate the effects of excess ethanol consumption, do the following before retiring for the evening:

    (1) Drink at least a 16 oz glass of spring water. Alcohol is a potent diuretic (makes you urinate), so it causes general dehydration and an associated decrease in the amount of cerebral-spinal fluid (CSF) that surrounds your brain and spinal column. There is a direct correlation between this lowered CSF level and the frequently sever headaches that accompany a hangover.

    (2) Eat something salty (e.g., a bag of potato chips, french fries, etc.). This will help you retain water. See No. 1, above.

    (3) Take a good multiple vitamin/mineral combination - especially one that is high in all the B vitamins. Alcohol depletes vitamins and minerals from the body due to both diuretic and metabolic effects. In addition, the enzymatic metabolism (i.e., break-down) of ethanol in the liver is dependent upon B vitamins as co-factors. B vitamins also concomitantly decrease the amount of aldehydes produced during said metabolism. Many of the products of ethanol metabolism are "toxic" to the body and cause the general malaise, headache, nausea, etc., that accompany a hangover. Moreover, these aforementioned metabolic products (especially aldehydes) are one reason why American Indians and Asian have difficulty with ethanol consumption. They lack, or have much lower levels, of alcohol dehydrogenase - an enzyme in the liver that metabolizes alcohol.

    (4) Take at-least 400 mg (2 tablets) of Ibuprofen (i.e., Advil). This acts prophylactically as an anti-inflammatory agent and analgesic (pain killer).

If you do the above-mentioned "ritual" before you go to bed after a rough night, I promise you that it will greatly reduce your hang-over the next day. Try it, it really works.

EDIT: Hey Pap, you should write this down. I have a feeling that you're going to need this next week for the "Big Day". Best of Luck!! :)

The bandwidth just went up by 1,000%. Just downloaded the entire season of LOST in 5 seconds.

As for Ricambi, can't think of a single company that has done more in a pinch for me: For that alone they are on the good side and I will endorse and recommend often.

When I first began my Ferrari search a couple months ago, Daniel PM'ed me with very helpful info AND an offer to take a drive in his Car (I live about 80 miles away). This gentleman was generous with his time and advice, and when I find my car he will have a new customer.

Yeah.... maybe we should call him and complain about that.... :D

Of course, I'm kidding. Sorry someone gave you that much grief, Daniel, and I appreciated that you helped me find proper Hill lug bolts for my challenge wheels, and were able to provide them at a discount! Hope the rest of the week is much better. :)
