My guess this wasn't aired on Speed TV, correct?
I just read in the October issue of F1 Racing that Bernie is having FOM broadcast the race in full HD as a "test" for next year. Does anyone know if the North American feeds (TSN in Canada and SpeedTV in the US) are going to use this HD feed (instead of upconverting to HD the usual FOM SD feed)? The article said that even the in-car cameras are going to be HD. This could be very, very nice.
+1. Weirdly enough in GP2 he wasn't THAT good. Grosjean, piquet etc stood out much more. Maybe they need to hire all the rubbish GP2 drivers instead rofl. +
So who paid Sir Jackie how much to comment on P2 for BBC5, I guess it was? A couple of the streaming feeds carried that commentary over the visual.
I heard about this afew weeks back. According to the BBC HD schedule they haven't gone thru with it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbchd/programmes/schedules/today No F1 mentioned for today or tomorrow. Only for the regular channel. If the BBC aren't showing it I doubt TSN or SpeedTV will. They have been filming the races in HD for a few years now and it's been limited to the teams and big corporate at the track. Bernie has always blamed the in-car cameras as the reason for the delay tho with Bernie who knows the real reason ITV actually spent millions to get the infrastructure in place to broadcast F1 in HD for this year but then they magically lost the rights to F1...
They always get guest commentators for P2. He was having a ball answering everyones questions and mentioning how great it is to see 2 British drivers win the title back to back.. haha
Quoted for truth. GP2 race just finished, was quite a good race, fantastic scrap between filipi and valsechi. Rossi (american guy) finished 4th (although he would have been 5th, but was gifted 4th after in the final two laps a new guy broke down...). Not bad goings!
Help me !!! this mobile doesn't support java ap somebody put up some times, please. Where is tony when I kneed him?
