Pictures please...
Great day, great weather, great people and great racing. It got a little rough but I think that bumper can be re-attached. I have about an hour of video that I'll try to cut down to a few minutes later in the week.
I don't know if anyone took the time to take any pics ... we were all focused and in the zone. It was tough finding grip early, but, after it warmed up and some other karters started laying down rubber, things picked up. Everything was all good until my clutch locked up ($$$) ... fortunately, it was at the end of our day. Then it was off to Hooters ... wings, wings and more wings. Thanks Dan !!! G
Haig- Rotax's have clutches too. As for the bumper, we'll call that one a "racing incident" and I won't blame Jeffrey for intentionally taking out a rear tire of mine. Besides, a little white and red paint and his nose graphics will be good as new! We can all check it out if Jon's video works (he was following us at the time). Go Raiders, uhh, I mean Cowboys and Hooters chicks in tight, white shorts! War 170 WINGZ!
Thanks for lunch Dan! You're a true sport! Why oh why did I have to adjust my brake bias??? Racing incident = flat tire and bumper on the track! LOL. I hope Jon got it on the vid!!
Why G why?? Good fun with great friends. Thanks for lunch Dan, very generous and kind of you. We are wing machines!! Strong! Edward
Gary, Jeffrey, Jennifer and I must be really asking for it. We're going back for more 911 wings tonight!! I pity the person sitting next to me on the plane tomorrow Edward
Ok, it looks like it might just happen... I found a Kart, It is a leopard. Original engine with 10 hours on it. What you guys think?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don't know alot about the Leopard since we're all running Rotax except for David who I think is running the Leopard. Rotax needs less work as a matter of fact there's nothing you can do inside the motor until it's time for the rebuild. The chasis is more important than the motor so make sure there's no welds and it's straight. Good Luck.
If you can make sure it has a computer and the seat is the right size. That will set you back $500 to $650.00 right off. For the price you should find a Rotax. Less to tune.
I see something wired to the steering. The seat should be large, but I will know more once I see it. It has been maintinaed and stored at a reputable shop. My CPA buddy turned me on to these guys while back and I the kart has been for sale since then. I want to make sure it is as fast as CRG, Tim's kart felt like a rocket.
