    Those are also out of my top drawer; Angel Heart stands with them IMO.

    I saw The Sentinel when first released on screen in late '70s, rented it a couple years ago. Much creepier on the rental viewing.

    Forgot to add The Shining...also top drawer.

    That made me think of Freaks and Eraserhead.

    Freaks is ca. 1930's, starring the real things..."challenged" would be today's PC term.

    ca. 1970 indy production Eraserhead defies description. Nightmarish.

    haven't seen it for years and years now but "jacobs ladder" was pretty damned scary from what I remember.
    Funny thing is when I was younger I was never bothered by them but now that i'm older I get freaked out over certain t.v shows/movies.
