They will race. I have a feeling that they might just surprise a few people after the crash gate fiasco.

Withdraw is they have any sense!

Renault has been bailed out by a reluctant French government who wouldcertainly not be happy to see millions of taxpayers Euros being spent going rounds on circuits all over the world where Renault doesn't even market!

Renault's market is in Europe, but there is no French GP, probably no British GP, the German GP is in trouble, etc...

Racing in the Middle and Far East where Bernie's circus takes the GP season now doesn't make sense for Renault from a promotional point of view.

Beside, for the Renault's top management, the GP outsfit isn't strictly part of the structure. It's based in England, not in France, and its DNA is more Benetton/Toleman than Renault. Most of the staff isn't French, nor is the management, etc... If it was to close door, there would be no scandal with the unions, etc... as if it was in France.

Based on these considerations, I believe that Renault won't last long in F1 now...

IMO They would have announced by now if it weren't for the FIA's threatened action against Toyota for breaking the Concorde agreement. At this point they are probably negotiating terms with the FIA and will announce when a settlement has been reached.

I completely agree. The Renault BOD met Wed. They must have voted to withdraw or investigate withdrawing or Renault would have announced a commitment to F1 by now.

I suspect Renault's Lawyer's / CPA's are figuring the most cost effective option...

In the end, it may be cheapest to race...

Renault will race with Kubica and ?

So much for "the end of F1 is near". We will have more cars on the grid in 2010 than this year.
