I am from New York & exploring the purchase of a car from a dealer in Scottsdale, AZ. A couple of obvious questions arise: 1)Can anyone from that area recommend a shop for a PPI on 1995 Ferrari? 2) Any comments about the dealer - World Motors on North Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, AZ - Has anyone had first hand experience with this dealer? Your comments & suggestions are appreciated.

I am from NY & have been talking to World Motors in Scottsdale, AZ about a 1995 456. While they welcome a PPI, they will not permit one to be "...done by a store that also sells Ferrari." That statement rules out Scottsdale Ferrari who I had thought of. Can anyone suggest an alternate shop for a PPI in the Scottsdale are? Also, the notion of not allowing the car to be inspected by a Ferrari dealer seems strange to me. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Thank you for your comments & suggestions.

    Hi,

I too am looking for a good Ferrari PPI in Phoenix, and FoS is ruled out as the car has had regular service there. After searching found Jeff LeBlond comes highly recommended. If anyone has his email, I'd appreciate it. Patrick

Alex Treviso seems well respected here. He is a fixture at Cars and Coffee and I am told has an SD2.

The number I have for Alex is: 480-241-8877

Last I heard, the only SD2 in the Phoenix region, outside the dealership, was in the possession of Andy Falbo.

    Hi Mark,

I was just browsing locally and noticed that the car you were interested in is still on the lot with World Motors... did you ever get anywhere with a PPI?

Just wanted to see if you passed on the car because something was found, or if you just didn't end up getting a PPI after all...
