And you tease me about living in the redneck sticks? WTF? Sorry to hear about the hole, open the hole up a bit and make an outside cupholder out of it--or you can stuff a Christmas tree in there and drive around for the Holidays--if your drivers window motor goes bad, you can have the drive thru employees toss your Big Mac into the hole---you can leave it outside in the snow and practice ice fishing through the hole--instant ashtray for your cigarettes, just flick them right out the hole---homemade sunroof that you didn't pay extra for.....

There are a thousand possibilties for your hole...think postive....

Wow, unfortunate! Wonder how much the damage is for that...

Is that Bam Magera cutting a hole into his Lambo's roof?

I would just leave the hole in the roof. Cover it with a plastic baggie & some duct tape. This should royally piss people off :)

It wasn't his basketball goal that did the damage. Why should he pay for the repair??

Too bad you didn't have that much water around when you beached your boat.

Look on the bright side of the hole: If you open it up a little bigger, at least you'll have plenty of head room, unlike the 328.

what did your neighbours say? have they agreed to go through their insurance for this? and like keith said not all shops report to Carfax and it will only likely show up if you go through your insurance.

I can't believe Audi said they would just put a new roof on! do they just happen to have Roofs lying around incase something like this happens? also does the Audi dealer have any idea how difficult it is to weld aluminium? probably not. I think it could potentially be written off unfortunately.

Sorry about your luck! especially on your brand new ride!

    Let's see...

    - It's been 3 weeks, so he is probably sick of it

    - Trying to drive it through a torrential flood

    - Conveniently parks under wobbly basketball hoop...

Why not just drive it into a lake like the other exotic owners [allegedly] trying to commit insurance fraud?!

Just admit you wanted to get a v10 model and that they offered a crap trade-in value.

I think you're on to something. Johnny is at least smart enough to realize that by putting a hole in the roof, if the car were to accidentally wind up submerged in some body of water, that the hole would allow the air in the cabin to escape and the car would sink completely.
