Given this is how Luca drives (witness beached California http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA9IY6L7lSQ), I think we can take his handling commentary with a grain of salt. :D :D Nay .. a tub of salt. :D

I disagree. While it might not have the astounding beauty of the 308 (no other car has), it's pretty d@mn good for a midengine four-seater, and a huge improvement in looks over the 308GT/4.

No offense to 330 owners, as I have a friend who's quite devoted to them, and I understand that they're great vehicles and even something of a cult car.

But I could never grasp the looks; the proportions just don't look right to me.

Woa, a very old thread revived.

Well I went from a '90 348ts about a decade ago, to the brand new BMW E39 M5 that every .com millionare had to have and pay well above MSRP for. I paid MSRP off a 3 year wait list and traded my 348ts in for it. It was a step down. The M5 was a great car, no doubt, but it was no Ferrari. Practical, dependable, and scary fast it was, but it was no Ferrari.

If the 348 was the wost of the lot, it was still better than the best BMW (and I have owned 7 BMW's, mostly M cars). Actually, the best BMW ever, is the one I still have, an S54 M Roadster. Anyhoo, I kept the M5 for exactly 4 months and sold it for $34k over MSRP to one of those had to have it now rather than get on a list types. I missed my Ferrari 348 so much, all these years later, I now have a 5 years new 360 spider in my garage and I ain't trading it in for anthing other than another Ferrari, which ain't going to happen any time soon. I ain't making that mistake twice.

Commonnnn, enzokidd - - - You may be attracted to blonds, while I lust over ringlett haired brunettes, but really, would you not say that this redhead has a very pretty body? :)

It is not nice to put down any persons car.

For some, it means a lot to them.

Let them enjoy the car they decided to buy !

Agreed. I think if someone says this, a good response might be.. ."so, which of your children is the ugliest?"

    I like all of them.

To me picking the "worst Ferrari" is like picking out which Victoria's Secret model I wouldn't want to take out. Even with the ones that aren't the best they have, you are still dating a supermodel.

    Right you are indeed.

The Harley owners say, "If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand."

There are those who can point out the shortcomings of every Ferrari ever made. But for guys like us, Ferrari ownership is just what the bikers say, just to an exponential degree.

Not if you ask those who have bought them.

The Mondial introduced the Cheese graters.
And I have a battered some rust split seats 66 Chrysler NY 440 heap that can take the Mondial 8 in the straight but no where near in the class dept. 440 has nice moan drinking through the 4 bbl but the roar of the Stallion is better music.

And even if the Mondial is the cheapest entry to the Ferrari Club it is still a great handling work of art.

As they say what do you call the guy who is last in his class in medical school--

    DR.

Or as a co worker with a tracked Corvette that can outrun outcorner and out costs the Mondial says--"I cannot top that"

    The worst Ferrari ever made?.

All of them!, because currently I can't afford to buy and run any of them :( and I would love to own one!.

So long as your Ferrari makes you happy and lets you share in the Maranello magic, who cares what anybody else thinks!.

(And for all those who knock the 348, maybe it's not that the car isn't that good, maybe it's the drivers who aren't good enough for the car, hence why they had to make the 355 so much easier to drive).

Sorry, but this thread is pointless. Everyone has their opinions and all, so no one will agree. But my opinion is that there was no worst Ferrari. Every single one helped with the next one with their design cues and performance. For example, look at the 360 and the 430, some similar design cues.

Sometimes though it's good to have a pointless coverstation, especially for blokes. I agree with you though, opinions will always vary. As I posted previously:

Damn good quote. Maranello Magic, I need a rabbit to pop out of a hat.

It's okay sometimes, but lots of people will get butt hurt that someone said that "their" Ferrari is the worst, so it will just go on and on with a bunch of arguing.
