They broke FOTA before, they'll break it again.
The main reason I'm not a Ferrari lackey.

Looks like FOTA has been gutted. The ball was in their court and they dropped it.
Bernie is going to put it to the teams once again big time and I hate to say they deserve it.

    q.e.d.

I was one of the few on here who said the FOTA is nothing but a house of cards. A gigantic bluff to fence off Mad Max and his two class regulations etc. And it worked.
    That's the good news.

But think about what would have happened to F1 if FOTA had won the war and would be running the show now? What show exactly with what teams left?

People question USF1, but compared to what FOTA would have been able to put together for 2010, USF1 has basically two running cars on the starting grid right now.

F1 in the hands of FOTA would have been the end of F1. There would not have been a 2010 season at all.

But we'll never know for sure.
Its a shame that they seem to be an ad-hoc single issue group instead of an on-going entity that would keep the FIA grounded. (I almost said honest).

They never were anything but that.

The real surprise was that they actually stuck together this summer for as long as they did. Which ended in Mad Max' ousting.

Just look at them: They're like egotistical 5 year olds fighting over who gets to open the next toy under the x-mas tree.

Has always been like that. If you have any doubt, read the book "The Piranha Club".

You won't find me disagreeing that F1 sized egos don't play well with others;)
Some believe in USF1, some in Santa. Me, I had hopes for FOTA.
