I need to know the Fram part number for the bypass oil filter as used in the early 330 GTs.

    Can someone help me out?

    THANKS, Bob Z.

I've heard either PH3 or PB50, but I've seen pictures of both series 1 and 2 with PH2804-1.

The bypass was (and still is) PB50.

The main filter was PH3, now replaced by PH2815.

The later 330 GTs started with PH2804 (w/o a stand pipe in the filter), now replaced by PH2804-1 with a stand pipe.

The PH2804-1 should not be used on a 330 GT with a by-pass filter connected by oil lines. They are only for the models with the oil filter block mounted on the front cover that has both filters screwed onto it.

Thanks to all - and, what is the proper full-flow filter to use in conjunction with the PB-50?

    I repeat:
The bypass was (and still is) PB50.

The main filter was PH3, now replaced by PH2815.

I thought Fram filters were junk.
Or do you want it just to be concours-correct?
