Thinking of getting the two valve exhaust on my 95 F355 since I just had the motor rebuild. Worried about how it sounds in person. Does anybody have one or heard one in person? How loud? Sound like a CS? How does it sound in the interior? Do you really feel you are getting an additional 20-25 hp?

First, my F355 Berlinetta has a Tubi, so I can be of no assistance in answering your query. I don't know if you had a chance to read this recent Thread, Link: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=253387

In it, Techs from Capristo discussed their various systems (i.e., features, sound, etc.). I was quite informative. If I remember correctly, the 2 valve system sound was compared to that of the F360 CS, rather than the typical, high pitched F!-like sound of the F355. I myself an planning to go with a Capristo system (probably level 1, or less probably level 2) with their by-pass valve.

There are many exhausts out there for F355 that claimed to have the signature F1 high pitched scream.

Just to name a few more notable ones:

    Tubi
    Capristo
    X-ost
    Kreissieg
    Larini
    QuickSilver
    ITO
    Kida
    Stebro

To me, only Kreissieg and Capristo hold true to their claims. Unfortunately, Kreissieg are a bit on the expensive side. So I went with Capristo and never look back. I haven't heard the new twin valved Capristo so I can't vouch for it. But if you pair a Capristo (original design) with HyperFlow cats you WILL get that F1 high-pitched scream from your F355 for sure.

Here are two videos for the 355 y pipe delete twin sound racing system & yes it does make make that much HP & dyno results are on the video below. The Capristo's do not not resonate or drone in the cockpit like some others do, the only time it gets really loud is at WOT. Even at WOT it is loud outside the car but not as loud as you would think inside the car. If you want more info PM me or give me a call. I know the Capristo systems very well.

Capristo & Kreissieg are the most F1 sounding systems on the market, Capristo's are made from 309 stainless steel, the Kreissieg's are made from 304.
