There's a guy around here who shows up at local car shows with an SLR and his son drives around in an F360 but they live in a house that's worth like $120k. Priorities! RMX

One must wonder why the heck he was even on that road in the first place. Hmmmm~ Maybe he was lost, talking on the cell phone, dropped his cellphone, got distracted by a pelican and then decided to take a bath in the salt pit.
Someone recorded the route to see if it was intentional insurance fraud, look for it at 1:25. http://www.houstonrx7club.com/vey/SSPX0179.3g2
http://video.foxnews.com/11685174/splashdown I'm impressed by the level of accurate detail they talk about here... usually journalists know next to nothing about cars, and report accordingly... the only inaccuracy is there are far more than 15 Veyrons in the USA.

Real simple, check his police statement on what was he doing exactly at the time of the crash, talking on phone, texting or just fetching phone that fell down in footwell. Check cellphone records.
i think those are after pictures, if you look at the Bugatti logo on the first picture, you can see its all off to the side, just like they are after the river landing, also look at passenger side headlight, all the condensation

Oh he probably won't even make a claim. He probably wants to try and sell it to some sucker, denying its the "Bugatti Dumped In The Bay-ron Pelican Edition" the whole way...
After watching that and the other videos it's even more suspicious. It would seem anyone that swerved would have been rather noticeable in the videos, and there would have been some attempt to swerve back to the left.
Mods, feel free to move this to the Bugatti forum. I had never seen that before! But please don't merge it with the existing thread, or a lot of people won't see the video as they will think it's just more talk about the crash.
