    Ferrari is now working on a new type of car door that’s designed to improve passenger and driver access for all of its vehicles.

    The Italian supercar makers recently applied for a licensing patent on a revolutionary door that should rival those that we’ve seen from Lamborghini and Mercedes over the years. For their design concept, Ferrari is working on a door that’s attached to the car’s front wing where the door hinges upward when it is opened allowing the drivers to get in and out of the car as effortlessly as possible.

    There’s no word yet as to when Ferrari will be introducing these doors but despite the uncertain timeframe, rumor has it that these doors are perfectly suitable for mid-engined cars, which incidentally is fast becoming a Ferrari trademark. -topspeed.com

    gee Fchat is going to be quiet for the rest of the week. MP is sailing & I'm traveling. Poor Leang & Sereve will have nothing to catch up on & might actually sleep normal hours.
