after having my car stripped and painted the assembly is about to begin. What kind of caulk should I use where the "C" pillar meets the body? Also around the windshield trim? Black is the car, seems like the old caulk was black. Any suggestions as to what product I should use for this? Thanks, Dino

Personally I would use Spectrum 2 Structural Silicone. Call John Latta in Seattle 800-333-8877

I'm not sure if it is the right stuff or not, but on the TAV for the windshield for the GT4 (at least) there is a Sika sealant specified. And the GT4 has that same body sealant around the windshield. This could be the real stuff. It seems like people here should know what that stuff is, it seems like it is on every Ferrari and Lamborghini from at least the '70's and '80's, and probably the '60's and '90's as well.
