With some help from my friends I was able to get my hands on a 94 spider engine #F119G04037064 with around 22k on it, the car was involved with front end damage and the engine was spared. I had it compression test, all good within 2 psi of each other the rest of the inspection will be completed here with my mechanic. They gave me a 2 week window upon delivery to make sure all is OK for final sale, they also included a full gasket set, timing belt, oil filters, fuel filters, exhaust manifold gaskets, and everything I need to do valve adjustments. These guys were top notch to deal with, I only needed certain parts so they stripped it down for me and included other items of which I thought I might need.

I will do the major on it and will have a newer engine with half the miles than my old one.

I am keeping the old engine in case of resale in case someone wants to have the original put back in, but I will have my own parts store to choose from now :). Of course I'm going to clean it up and put on display in my garage under glass :D

If anyone else is interested they have a 91 engine #F119G04026568 with 8k on it ready to go, pm me for details.

Glad to hear it, Roberto. Best of luck with the replacement. At least it's off-season, so you don't have to be in a rush.

Good to hear that you got the engine sorted out.

Really glad to hear, Roberto! I think everyone has been wondering how you were progressing. The sun is rising over that lonely, dank, dark tunnel, and will soon be shining bright over Regina (and Maranello)!! :)

Hey Roberto! I haven't been around for awhile, but I'm glad to see you got a new engine and she's coming along. I see your coming up to Calgary bring your coat she's getting cold!
I will go look for the threads I have a lot of reading to catch up on.

    Cheers!

Glad to hear about your find and that things will soon be in order. BTW my wife is from Calgary - wish we were headed there (Oklahoma is rather boring this time of year!)
