Several years ago, I visited a shop in the Uk where 400 Series Ferrari chassis were being used to build pontoon fendered 250's. do not recall the name of the shop, however, to the best of my recollection it was a man with the last name of Winfield.

Brian Wingfield built the Bamford owned 400i-based GTOish special (you'll find it in a search on this forum) but I've never heard of any TRs on a 400 chassis.

By the way do you have any connection to my friend Lou Lorenzini (Lisbon, good Ferrari mechanic)?

Or start making one virtually before building it. Tube size is 80mm or 3” will work just fine. Most people don’t realize that Ferrari frames used USA made tubing left over from WWII aircraft manufacturing. Many of the original drawings show 76.2mm as the main tube size.
