I'd like to get replace my existing 348 Challenge badge for something else.

Does anyone know where I can get a badge made up?

The style will be similar to the 348 Challenge as below, with the word "Challenge" replaced by something else.

These guys might help. I don't know about price:

I would recommend that you find someone to do the artwork, and another person or firm to have the artwork CNC milled out of aluminium. Painting it is easy after that.

    :D :D :D

Found a company that will do it in the UK, but I need to have a CAD design done first.

The original plan was to create a "348 Competizione LM" badge which I may still do. However it won't be a real LM so I'll get the same criticism as I got for teh existing 348 Challenge Badge.

As I'm building a one off, I've been thinking of creating an all new name for it. Make it more individual. The original badge was "348 GTB" but by next year it will be much more modified and bear little relation to a GTB performance wise.

Was thinking of "348 Scura" or "348 Scura LM".

Scura is Italian for dark (Thanks to Roberto for confirming that for me) so perfect for a black Ferrari. Plus it sounds kind of mean and sharp.

    What do you all think?

Why not just have it say "348angelis"? :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Sorry Sy, I just couldn't resist. LOL

Careful. You may re-ignite the 348-355 war. :D

    "348 evoluzione" sounds good.

I agree. Completely novel and has a really nice "ring" to it.

    Sy:

I'm looking through my Internet files to try to find this famous Badge maker based in GB. Their work is impeccable, but I'm sure not inexpensive. They do fabrication and restoration for not only the automotive filed, but also museums, royalty, etc.

Nice one Scott. May solve my problem.

I might put up a poll and let everyone decide what we should call the car. :D

    How about:

    "348_bad_ass_:cool:"

And the cool smiley with the sunglasses is an integral part of the design. ;) :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I was given this site by the owner of numerous classic Ferraris. If it can be manufactured, they can do it. I posted this site in the early Ferrari site on FChat for badge restoration. I realize the site looks kind of "snobby", but they really good. I hope they can do something for you, Sy. Give them a call.
