I envy your dad. I can't wait to retire. There is just something about driving your Ferrari and parking it under a palm tree while wearing a short sleeve shirt in December! Awesome picture. Thanks for sharing as we prepare for snow tomorrow... it reminds us there are places in the US where it is still actually sunny and warm.

Great pics Mike! My car looks like it's grinning with pleasure... probably because it's parked next to some real Italian beauties.

Weather not very attractive for tommorrow (road surface wise). Your "pick-me-up" is going to have to come from a pharmacy.

I second that... BOO! The pick me up I am utilizing is a 15 year bottle of Balvenie... amazing how half a bottle takes the edge off :D

I need it after I removed the old cell phone system from the TR today. There is just something about seeing a 1/2 inch hole in your cars roof. :(

This is true. I'm sure I'll feel better Monday morning when I pick up the car ... just wish I was hanging out with some of you guys having a few drinks in the interim.

Tomorrow morning is looking pretty bleak.

We got some snow on the grass but nothing that stuck so no sand or salt down here in lower Fairfield County.

I usually try to get out throughout the winter but only if any salt has been washed away by a couple of good rainstorms.

Who else got salt on their roads today? Ugh!

I was going to at least come over for some breakfast.

My car likes salt and sand it covers up all the paint chips and scratches.

No surprise Phil's TR made the trip! I wonder if he should invest in snow tires??

And if I had to guess...Falcon would be the one who showed up in the CAT tractor in the background? :D

It was a good day for a run down I-91. She was breathing dense cold air and running smooth as silk. The roads were clear and there was less ground cover in the Hartford area. Only problem was the cold wind when we got there. 33 degrees and biting.
I've gotten more dust on her on a hot summer day than today, so only a minor dusting necessary when I got back.
We need a contest for the last car standing in 2009!!!!!!
Obviously it was fun making the run, but it's just not the same without the gang there.
Hope to you all at least one more time this year.

Starbucks is kind of tight for a group. Do we want to consider shifting venue to some breakfast type joint for the cold months? More inside heated space to spread out and chat. Huxleys Paperback Cafe in Meriden is the first one to come to mind because that was our jump off spot for the Stamford run but there are plenty to choose from.

    Suggestions / comments please

Very Cool! I was wondering yesterday who'd brave it and take there car out.
Very strange weather, all around my area, Southbury/Woodbury, was nothing, drive up my street about 1/2 mile and a good amount. Drive a mile, 4-5 inches! Granted it is all uphill, a hundred ft of elevation made the difference.

I agree with a switch in venue for the winter with more room for us indoors

I'll try to make it out there with the 430 this Sunday if it is clear. I picked up the new DD today. I took delivery with 19 inch Pirelli scorpion ice and snow tires and will have to wait until spring to put on the stock 21 inch P rossos. The iPhone pic in garage isn't great. Note the covered car in background :( Hopefully that is very temporary.
