Wow... I have to admit though - it's good to see some of these cars display some of their rarely witnessed and rarely utilized capabilities!! Too often you see one of these beautiful machines on the road and then see the guy in it, who drives it ONLY on the weekends and ONLY at the speed limit, with a silver hair piece hanging on for dear life and his wrinkle-flaps jostling around in the wind. Sometimes the girl next to him is, AT MOST, half his age. The guy looks like he's half ready for the grave and bought the car to check off an item on his bucket list. Must have been a treat for the people watching!
Hey Zip, mind sharing the dyno #'s? I remember on 6speed you said the biggest gain from EVOMSit was it smoothed out your power curve. BTW, beautiful car bro.
i agree with tim, have the same combination. the ONLY aspect in my opinon the spider clearly shines over the 16 is the seats. im jockey size and need a pillow in the 16!
Don't forget the 16M weighs several hundred lbs more than the Scud, that coupled with the extra passenger weight and the 430 mods makes the result seem reasonable. Gary
That 16m was behind the 8 ball all 3 times on accelaration. 2 of the "races" the 16m appeared to be in a higher gear as well. The Coupe driver was saying Go it appeared as well. That being said I guess I need to look into those upgrades. My friends 16m will spank my 08 spider like it's on a different planet. The coupe does have a couple hundred pounds less. 400lbs with that passenger. Those little 300 yard bursts really weren't bad but it really is bad form to drive like that on a freeway with others around.
I am not sure it is smart but I'll bet many of us have pulled up next to some car and "tested" them. I would have picked a less busy place.
