Need your help. I am considering this one but wondering if this is a fair price? Based on the 360 pricing posted in this forum - I think it is a decent deal BUT .....

    Here are some more inf:

This car has just undergone its 5 year 15k belts and seal service as well as a brand new clutch installed. The top and every aspect of this car is in fantastic condition. Finally, yes it is a US spec car.

Great price for a moderate mileage spider.
    Modular wheels and challenge grill.
Ask if they have the stock wheels.
I say hammer them down and then pull the trigger!
    Ciao!

That is a very good asking price. 2-3 months ago a red 2003 spider with similar miles and a 6 speed sold at a dealer for around 110 or so. I have been looking at an 02 6speed spider with lots of options and low miles but guy will not budge off of 120 plus it needs a major service. Go for it..

Check the CarFax. This car is priced cheap because it has had major damage ("hidden" in the comments section of the report). You get what you pay for.

Thanks for the pointer. I checked out AUTOCHECK also - but did not see any issue from that report (see attached).

I will investigate the comment section a lot more from CARFAX before deciding on this one. The CARFAX I got from the seller website did not have the comment section (prob that was the reason).

Probably will do a PPI to see what the Ferrari dealer might say?

I think I might do that if I can get a good PPI report. Will see :)

I am adding the VIN ZFFYT53A930131283 of the car here for future search ref (the asking price was $102K @ 8000 miles 12/10/09)

    Thanks ALL for the help

Take the photos with you. Nice car and the damage did not look that bad. Plus it will be fun to see them tapdance, even if you cannot make a deal on the car.

Remember, though, most buyers will know nothing. Makes me glad I paid for my own CarFax on my car. Dealer supplied ones can be edited/expurgated.

I asked about this car in the AZ section with no response. I'm glad the light is out on it. I was told it had no paint work or accident history by the sales men. The car is a consignment car there anyway.

I flew out to Arizona from FL and looked at the car. It looked "tired" for such a low mileage car. They represented it to me as no accident (or paint work). Buyer beware. They won't get my business.
