BJ? For this? No. You're told what not to do and then you do it...in a man's prized possession? BJ? NO. Rear entry at the very least. ;)

Are you kidding? She's probably angry with him for yelling at her, and blames the yelling for her taking the drive too quickly at the wrong angle.

I see him getting nothing and her sulking.

That's why there's a wife involved, rather than a 'young male friend'!

Two curbed wheels and a scraped rear quarter panel here. My standard comment after each incident is "as long as you're not hurt honey..."

It's a beautiful car, but just a car. I've done a lot more damage than that in 5 years of racing.

At the end of the day, we know we want our better halves to enjoy the things that we enjoy. So we simply accept the consequences. :D

No chance I'd ever let my wife drive my car, ever. Just a bad idea.

BTW, my wife has never been the least interested in driving my car, esp after the vent window
catch came off in her hand (during an early drive) after I politely told her "sit down, don't touch nothin'".

 Aaaargh, no... sorry about the 355 damage, Rick. :(

Hope you get it sorted quickly. :)

I'm not sure sending his wife to Tiger Woods is going to make him feel any better.

At the very least, you should demand a coffee in bed every Saturday/Sunday morning. lol :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

That's because if we all drove 'non-fragile german cars' we wouldn't have wives....or girlfriends.

My Dad is on his 9th 'non-fragile German car' and currently owns a Porsche 911 (993) convertible and a BMW 3-series convertible. What are you trying to say?! :D

Although, he balances that out with a Triumph TR3A (convertible) and a Ford F350 Dually Superduty Converti-... nah, actually that last one isn't a convertible. :p But maybe those cars are the reason my Mom sticks around?

Who can say... but it makes you think!*

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Wife refuses to drive the 430, but likes the Mondial. I'm usually the one that damages stuff, although when we first got together I had a 68 Camero Z28 (almost new at that time), and she destroyed the clutch, car never worked right after that.

Reminds me of why I never let my wife drive an F-car.

Back in the 80s not long after we were newlyweds I bought a "280ZX Turbo" and one day she asked to drive it to the grocery store. I was watching a game and so I said okay.

After an hour she returned in tears. Through the tears I asked what happened. She said someone had hit the car. I asked if she was alright and she said it happened while the car was parked.

I asked if she saw the car that hit the ZX and she said yes, it was drove right past her after it hit the front of the car.

    So I asked if she got a license plate number........ no answer......OK, what kind of car was it......no answer.....ok, was it a camaro or a mustang.....no answer......OK was it a ford or a chevy.....no answer....okay was it a car or a truck.....and then she blurted out....You don't know anything about sowing.......at that time I reminded her that I don't sow but she does drive.......and then and there I made a note to self;

Don't ever let her drive the F-car.......25 years later we are still married but she has not driven any of my F-cars and I don't think that is a coincidence.

I love my car, and I love the fact it is mint, and I always take very good care of it. But If I was married and my wife wanted to drive the car I would be completely fine with that, if something was to happen to the car it can be fixed/replaced where as she cannot.

Get the scratch fixed up, buy your wife a nice bunch of flowers and enclose a card saying something along the lines of "Thank you for reminding me how much I love you"

She owes you nothing, you have already received your reward.

    Well said.

I've been restoring my Alfa for near on 20 years and I would be very upset if it got damaged when finished ... but family is more important, and it can be fixed again.

Imagine being married to somebody that considered a mere object more important than you ...
