OK, so I have been holding out for a late 80's 328 in yellow but after seeing some of these photos I just got to have a blue / dark blue (no black interiors please). To the owners: beautiful and thanks for sharing! keith
I'm still quite partial to black.... nothing else seems quite the same Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah, because it was a custom job. Details: http://www.motorcarmarket.com/308_gtb/ And I love what they did by cleaning the lines of the nose.
I special ordered this color in 1981, It took 6 additional months to get it, and it looks as good today as it did the day I picked her up from the dealer. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was called Russo Barchetta Red, suppose to be one of the origional colors used for the first Ferrari's. By the way, the interior is tan and black. WR
In lieu of a black interior, the dark blue would be perfect for a silver car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390075700735&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT Image Unavailable, Please Login
I originally wanted a red 308,like most people! This is what I ended up with and definetly no regrets...... She causes neck whiplash to other drivers and pedestrians everywhere I go and everyone wants to talk about the car and especially the colour!! Well apparently the dark blue(sera blue?) over crema 308QV on ebay wasn't wallet opening for buyers. It bid upto $25K, and closed with the reserve not met. Maybe it's just the wrong time of year.
I am the current owner of 75912 Silver/Red. I saw an ad recently for its twin sister, 76514 listing it as currently for sale. In looking through previous posts on this thread and in checking my own records out of curiosity; I noticed in these posts multi-quoted below that 76514 was being confused for 75912 and vice-versa. Being that this is the site for information on all things Ferrari I wanted to add some clarifying details between the two cars so as to clear up any confusion between them re: history. This is by no means complete but I wanted to have these "dots" available in case anyone was looking to "connect" them. Hopefully this can be searched and be of use to someone in the future who might be interested in these kinds of things. I stand corrected: 76514 is still Silver/Red as of this writing contrary to what is listed in the 328 GTB Registry http://www.328gtb-registry.com/ I can confirm this since 76514 is currently listed as being for sale at Sport Auto in NC and pictures show it still has the red seats, door panels and carpets. I have no affiliation with this sale. I just wanted to amend my previous statement regarding the car's interior color and my erroneous claim of my car being the only silver/red car in the US. @hardtop: The car you test drove was not mine which is s/n 75912. It was 76514. It was 76514 that was for sale at LFSC ca. 1999. @Imola82: Chances are the car you saw at LFSC back then was 76514 as well. Hope this helps.
A 328 in silver/red is a beautiful machine indeed. My humble 1982 308 GTB is also silver/red, but I found out several years ago that the 308 GTB registry is not interested in the 2v "i" cars. Oh, well. I love my 308 anyway!
Mine is Red with Red interior Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Excellent taste, I currently have that color in a 1983 308QV, Azzurro Metallico with a dark blue interior.
