If you almost crashed your truck today, then I'd hate to have seen you drive past two weeks ago: http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb56/kevinm_010/FoA%20Garage%20Sale/FoATrip101.jpg FoA had a garage sale about 2 weeks back- there were, as you can see, two Enzos and an F40 on display. One Enzo was from Florida for service, and the other one stays in FoA's basement. So the one you saw is probably the one from the basement, as the Florida one should be back at home. We had a thread about it somewhere around here... -kevin
Today was pretty fun... -weird Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser with a Chevy badge in the front grille Then as I was driving down E Paces Ferry towards Piedmont I saw a delivery truck with what appeared to be a few Rolls Royces in it being unloaded -First one out was the new Ghost, it was then driven on several laps around the roads near the dealership by a few different people. I'm assuming that this one is their demo car and we'll be seeing it driving around a lot here soon. -Next one out was a Phantom Coupe, it went straight into the showroom -The last one out was a red Drophead with a black top, It had all white interior which looked awesome -Lastly is a picture of the Drophead and Ghost together as the Ghost was being driven and the Drophead had just been unloaded Then back to normal spots... -new 997 GT3 pulling out of a car wash on Roswell Rd -light blue V8 Vantage Roadster at Bluepointe, I don't usually photograph these but I liked the color and the rims Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The thrills of owning that blue Murcielago were evanescent. Looks like the new owner purchased it late last week from the Chevrolet Dealer/The Repo Bank and then drove it around Buckhead for the weekend. It was at the Lamborghini Dealer on Monday with the clutch truly destroyed and a crack all the way through one of the rotors. Probably a $30k fix.
A very cold evening but I did find some nice cars, 1.Porsche Techart GT street in silver with orange accents 2.Ferrari F430 in black at Lenox 3.Lamborghini Gallardo dark blue at Lenox 4.Audi R8 5.2 V10 in white at Capital Grille 5.Audi R8 in red in Midtown Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Tonight (Sunday) was a rare dining out experience in Buckhead that produced a total of "14 Dodge Vipers" at a single place. The Viper Owners Club braved the 32 degree weather to meet up at Fados. Two ACR editions stood out for me and also in attendance was a black Ferrari 550 Maranello. A dark red Ferrari 355 GTS and a black Ferrari F430 coupe was also observed around town. A great spot on the Vipers but I wish they were all Ferrari's. The car use to be normal. We did it for Jim Ellis about a year and a half ago and was featured in our booth at the 2008 AJC Auto Show. I would like to know what the person who added the orange accents was thinking. It's disgusting!!

I'm somewhere in Smyrna so forgive me for my not knowing where Aston Martin V8 Vantage on (S Atlanta Road?) Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT in a shopping complex, first parked at World Market, and then at the Dollar Tree Porsche Cayenne GTS as well (not sure how popular that is here) Sorry for no pictures, I actually have pictures of the Maserati, but it's really bad from my cell phone and blurry.

I know it is not a GT3 Rs but this article may explain the accents that were added. Transsyberia Edition??? Who knows?? Porsche makes this model available to the general public because racing requirements dictate it must sell a production version of the actual race car. So the general public may find the vehicle a bit difficult to live with on regular city streets and highways. But nonetheless, here it is. The GT3 RS, which stands for Rennsport Motorsports, boasts the same powerplant as its lesser GT3 sibling, a 3.6-liter flat-six with 415 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. Its aerodynamically sculpted body is slightly wider but lightweight materials bring weight down by 44 pounds. This allows the RS to knock off a slightly faster zero-to-60-mph time of 4.0 seconds (just 0.1-second faster). Top track speed is identical at 193 mph. The only transmission is a six-speed manual but, compared to the regular GT3, the RS's has a single-mass flywheel for higher racing loads. Porsche Active Suspension Management and traction control are both standard. As expected, the brake system is also of the high-performance variety with Porsche's ceramic composite brakes as an option. The lightweight 19-inch wheels are RS-exclusive. For measuring track performance, customers can opt for either Porsche's Chrono Package or more comprehensive Chrono Package Plus. These include a digital-analog gauge on the dashboard. The 911 GT3 RS definitely stands out on the road in its five available paint colors: metallic silver or black, which come with contrasting orange accents. Also available are orange and green, which come with contrasting black accents. Carrera White is the final option and doesn't have a contrasting color.
yea but that is not a GT3RS or even probably a "normal" GT3. the accents on an RS from Porsche definately stand out and are an aquired taste for many, but this semi immitation wanna be is just plain bad in my opinion.
Lamborghini was the theme for Wednesday. Three were parked nose to tail at Chops and one in Atlantic Station. White Ferrari F430 spider at Lenox. Audi R8 in Midtown. 1.Lamborghini LP560-4 roadster-Black 2.Lamborghini Gallardo roadster-yellow 3.Lamborghini Gallardo roadster-white 4.Lamborghini Gallardo-black with after market wheels 5.Ferrari F430 spider-white 6.Audi R8-white Hope everyone has a "Merry Christmas'', West Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had stopped by Ferrari of Atlanta today and got to see an Enzo with Florida plates in the service area, along with a Scuderia 16M Spider. Unfortunately no pics...
Had the pleasure of polishing out the paint on these 3: 2009 Aston Martin DBS 1 of approx 350 produced this year. 2007 Black Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG. 2006 Ferrari F430 w/ scuderia front end and wheels. That is one of the worst looking SL especially with those wheels. In addition to the wheels, those Lamborghini crest (shield) on the side of the car are definitely Ferrari wannabe. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not too many cars here lately.. Saturday -360 on the street at Chops Sunday -GT-R on Peachtree, is it just me or are all of these things on temporary plates, I never see them with a regular tag -430 on Peachtree -430 Scuderia at Landmark Diner on Roswell Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The owner (who is a member here) might disagree. However, at the risk of offending him, I have to agree about the wheels - not that the ones he added are bad (they're not) but that I'm surprised he changed them at all. The standard Superleggera wheel is gorgeous and really suits the car.
The owner now has the OEM wheels back on the car. The car came with the HRE's when he bought it. He can't take off the Lambo side badges because the car has a full clear film over it (including the badges).
