Not bad. I had a 1994 SHO that I got from the Atl PD that I put an EXTRA 100k on. It ran like a bat out of hell and even had the flashy lights still in it!

Just traded in the wife's leased 09 TSX on an 07 525i. She was alrady 5k miles over in only a year. They had just knocked the 525 down $4k to $27k, and a white 5 was my wife's dream car. I've still got the 03 Boxster S, but it's up for sale since I'll be gone for 6 months.

    Nice!

I had a fully restored '75 in grade 12/university. Oddly enough, I had more fun driving that than the E46.

04 Cayenne S - This car is turning out to be a great jack-of-all-trades daily driver. I didn't think I'd ever say so, having owned mostly air-cooled 911s/914s/930 Porsches in the past. In today's prices for used ones, good value...so far after one year. I have even been averaging 19.7 mpg on a combined hwy/city driving.

03 Boxster - This is my wife's daily driver. Another good value for a sportscar. A couple of months ago, I bought Blizzak tires on OEM wheels for this car and it should be ready to go for the winter. I find out it very solid for a convertible.

Wow, that's really impressive! It certainly counters the "Loads Of Trouble, Usually Serious" automotive joke generally associated with Lotus. :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I also have a killer commute, although i am at about 80 miles a day..with our terrible traffic situation, it often feels like 400 miles a day...i think a reliable POS can be practical way to lower auto costs...my only concern with small cars, esp Japanese small cars is the potential for occupant injury in even relatively trivial accidents..my uncle owns a body shop and he begs me on a regular basis to sell my Nissan Altima for a stronger bodied car- eg, Mercedes, BMW, Audi , Porsche....

I've currently got a 2003 maxima with 136K miles and my commute these days is usually close to 100 miles a day. Been thinking about trading it in on a jeep, but not sure how I'll like the jeep as a daily driver.

Were those tail lamps tinted at a shop, or did you do them yourself?

Your car looks great. I've been thinking about taking a similar approach to my black on black 944S2.
