Well guys, Merry Christmas to all and I bid you a fond farewell, at least from this username as Old World Motorcars is no longer. The doors closed today, and it was my last day as well as Steve's. Terry is the only one who was kept from the crew to work for the new company, Vintage Autoworks. So, yes, Terry will still be there to service your vintage toys. The phone number and location will remain the same. I appreciate the great comments and kind remarks, as well as the support shown through the time of George's passing and have shared all of your remarks with the guys as they were posted.

Thanks again, you all have been great.

    Sincerely,

    Michael

Best of luck Michael, and to Steve K. Hopefully you both will find something very soon.

I'm sad to see this happen right before Christmas, but I assume it had something to do with the tax year end coming up.

Sorry to hear that bad news.

Sometimes when some doors close, other doors open that ultimately lead to bigger and better things.

Best of luck and best wishes for the future!

    Ciao,
    George

I am very sorry to hear this Michael. I wish the best for all the employees affected by the tragic and senseless Murder of George. Never underestimate how the actions of one Idiot can affect so many lives. Sincerely Vic

I missed this post - interesting! Sad to hear that it's gone. The V12s, however, are really amazing as I'm sure you know; the 599, 575, and 550 are three of the best - if not the three best - cars I've ever driven. Keep us posted; I'm eager to hear about the 355's replacement.

    Hello Michael,

First, I know it was a bit ago, but I am sorry for everyone at your establishments loss. George was great.

That being said about a year ago OWM helped myself remotely with a couple of issues on my '98 355 Spyder. (Do you remember the Grigio Tit / Navy 6spd car?)

Anywho, I have two issue I would appreciate some help with.

    A) My drivers side exhaust manifold has detonated AGAIN! I know I know! I believe the cats that we sourced went bad, and before I knew it the slow down light began to light again. Using a t-scope I could hear air seeping out of the header casing. Have any available? If not, will you nice lads facilitate the order and installation of an aftermarket setup?

    B) MY SWITCHES ARE STICKY!!!!! LOL! :) Need to get you to recondition them to remove the haze that has since landed upon them!

Just let me know if you are available for the work!

IMHO - OWM is the only Grade A workshop for cars like ours in our area short of driving to S.F. . They are a top notch operation.

    Best

Sorry for the delayed response, I have been out of town. You can give Terry a call at Vintage Auto Works, 770-938-0908, (same location). I am no longer there, see my posts here.

    Thanks, Michael
