Alberto: Please allow me to alleviate your confusion. I purchased 4884 in 2005. I restored it fully in 2005/2006. I enjoyed it in 2006, 2007 & 2008. In late 2008 a deal was presented to me involving a Ferrari Supercar trade & cash that did not make economic sense for me to pass up. At the right moment, as always, I will share about another Miura. As you might know, my problem is that I know where so many special cars are! Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year and I will speak to you soon.
I just spent a bunch of my Christmas Eve morning reading the last 50 pages of this thread. I have always liked the Miura but my appreciation has gone up 10 fold in the past few hours. Thanks to everyone that has had input into this thread and to those keeping these cars alive and well.
I guess my attachment limit has been reached. Sorry for the link, but here are a few Mirua shots I've taken over the past couple years. http://www.flickr.com/photos/45935721@N08/sets/72157622940141297/detail/
Great images! I am biased,so my favorite is of course the factory P400SV Prototype I used to own, now owned by a fanatic who also owns the Ferrari 250 GTO Prototype. The car has been totally restored by Wayne Obry & Motion Products. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hahaha. You kill me Joe! Can I drive the GTO instead? Unfortunately my dealer insurance policy cannot stretch to $30m though... Seasons Greetings and the Very Best to you & yours for 2010.
Alan I have to beg off this quiz as I am at a remote location with my family and cannot access my archives. Isn't the number indicated on one of the images?
John: This is very consistent with the way I do things, as you can see from some of the comments here. Some people prefer to speak of things they are going to do. I prefer to speak of things when I have already done them, and often it is well after I have done them, having learned a bit more about what Ive done. As you know, I operate in a very competitive market, and discretion is simply part of my operation, both buying and selling. Further, I in fact have never been the type to lay out all my possessions or assets as some do as I simply have never felt comfortable doing so, any more than you will feel comfortable posting the balance page of your savings account. I have never provided a list of the cars I own, nor will I ever, thats just not my thing. Having said all that, at the right time, I share as much of some of them as anyone here does. As I said before, all in good time. Hopefully you understand. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
Joe I appologize if you took me asking if you had a miura as probing into your assets or wealth. That hadn't occurred to me. In retrospect I can see why you've reacted this way. We are all just very interested about the glorious stories about what you do have that I didn't think. Sorry!
John: No apology needed at all. In fact, anyone here has a right to ask. But, I have a method to my madness. Its all good.
I'm not sure if i want to give you a tongue to cat?! whatever that means, lost in translation i guess, but this is supercarfrance. http://www.supercarfrance.com/
