    it actually wasn't dis-similar to what we experience at Sepang, exceot there I had it floored & it wudnt go above 3k rpm, whilst here I had it said it was doing 6k rpm and wasn't going anywhere

    It drove ok today even when being pushed hard. I spoke to Sam & he seemed pretty confident that it was clutch overheating, and not clutch burning (as there was no smell) and that it was likely to do with a 'sticky' seal, which wud likely rectify itself. He told me to keep driving it as normal & to bring it in if I experience it again; so let's see

    I'm sure mate!

    My cousin with the Gemballa Avalache tracks it on a regular basis and also takes it to long B road drives, etc! This is the main reason for modding your car to such a level as your able to set it up to all sorts of road conditions and enjoy the drive to the fullest!

    I remembered that the car was lacking power on that lap mate then it stalled altogether at the pits right... that surely wasnt clutch related? Then when you turned it off and turned it back on it was fine...

    mate, you mentioned that this time you weren't even pushing the car like normal so no way the clutch should be heating up unless its slipping!!! get them to give you a proper answer mate... I hate it when cars have a problem and people say there isnt one.... absolute nonsense... so you are expected to take it that your car decides to dump power when doing an overtaking maneouvre and you end up getting run over by traffic in the opposite direction because the clutch warmed up excessively but its only deemed an intermittent problem??? Sorry for the rant but I hate it when a problem exists but people claim "its normal" and not considered a problem especially on an 800k car....

    I just want to hear Fong's review on those RE11's mate! Not particularly asking on track performance.

    However, if I want a track set of tyres will definately consider the Hoosiers!

    Just wondering, why would the clutch overheat when your not driving hard?

    Hopefully it wont act up again!

    THESE ARE ENTRIES TO A WASHINGTON POST COMPETITION ASKING FOR A TWO-LINE RHYME WITH THE MOST ROMANTIC FIRST LINE, AND THE LEAST ROMANTIC SECOND LINE:

    1. My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
    Marrying you has screwed up my life.

    2. I see your face when I am dreaming.
    That's why I always wake up screaming.

    3. Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;
    This describes everything you are not.

    4. Love may be beautiful, love may be bliss,
    But I only slept with you 'cause I was pissed.

    5. I thought that I could love no other
    That is until I met your brother.

    6. Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
    But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty and so is your head.

    7. I want to feel your sweet embrace;
    But don't take that paper bag off your face.

    8. I love your smile, your face, and your eyes
    Damn, I'm good at telling lies!

    9. My love, you take my breath away.
    What have you stepped in to smell this way?

    10. My feelings for you no words can tell,
    Except for maybe 'Go to hell.'

    11. What inspired this amorous rhyme?
    Two parts vodka, one part lime.
