    That particular tool would be used to synchronize carburetors to ensure that they have identical airflow.

    The colourtune tool is excellent for checking mixture adjustment, although I don't know how you would see it if it where installed on any Ferrari engine. They are a great tool for setting up engine whereby the spark plugs protrude from the cylinder head.

    The tool that I prefer to use to set idle mixture is a gas analyzer.
