360 Spider Strad conversion

I've posted this in the uk section, thought I would share it with you guys too, I know there is a similar conversion in the states, this is the only one in the UK as far as I know...

Not the best pics, better to follow, but this HAS to be as close as a Spider gets to a full Stradale workover. The car is only waiting for the CS venturis under the back bumper, but here it is, using all the proper Stradale items.

CS bumper, sideskirts, and rear bumper
CS suspension and roll bars
CS brakes (nearly brand spanking new!!!)
CS seats
CS full exhaust system
CS TCU
CS fuel cap (special order from the factory in carbon fibre )
CS stripe
CS ECU to follow
360GT carbon mirrors

The wrecked car most of the parts have come from was one imported from Japan. It was built for a Jap racing driver and had some rather unusual touches which were added to the car by the factory at his request,as they werent on the original options list like the gold brake calipers, bare carbon fibre filler flap, thick (and I mean fluffy thick) bright red carpets, his signature embriodered on the sunvisor and on the carbon door card, then laquered in. The car had only covered 2000kms prior to the bump (looks like its hit a tree side on in the middle of the car???

I can confirm the Spider now drives and sounds very much like my Strad, perhaps slightly higher pitched, the handling is transformed too, perhaps not quite as sharp (it is a converitble after all) but a stunning conversion nevertheless.Without the roof on it just looks unbelieveably low too!! The car is also incredibly, unbelievably clean, even to the point all the wheel liners and undertray have been scrubbed and siliconed

A car that probably should have been produced by Ferrari.
I'm not sure if the CS ecu will be of any benefit without the mechanical parts.
Oh yea, I want your brakes!!!!!!!!!

is it just me or is the only Stradale thing about that 430 in your thread the stripe?

I'd love to see a 430 w/ the CS mirrors..and all the rest that stuff

The link you posted is a stock 430 Spider with a CS stripe.

Adam, thanks for nice pictures. Is it only my feeling or the front bumper does not fit exactly? I see some gap between bumper and hood. I checked orig. CS pictures and do not see it on original CS?! I am asking since i am going to change my bumper for CS as well......

BTW if the other Stradale in back on one picture is the yours, i dont see any such gap.....

Hey looks like mine.......joking......well minus the wheels, brakes, seats, stripes, interior........yeah I know, not even close. Mine is a work in progress. This is a old picture from some one else. I have the replica carbon mirrors. I have the engine louvers being made in carbon fiber. The wheels are next. It will be for pure aesthetics.

Yes that was my 430 spider and was a stock 430. I just added the stripe and lowered her.
