    Reports are that Virgin are running their Cossies under another name and are due to shake down at Silverstone early Feb. Makes sense to test first close to home/factory before going south to SP.

    Mercedes Indy car engines had "Mercedes" cast into the valve covers.
    Everything below them was Cosworth.

    ... and I thought it was ILMOR...

    How did I get that wrong?

    If I remember correctly, we were told that the previously CHEVROLET-badged Ilmor engine had been taken over by Mercedes when GM abandoned Indy.
