actually this is part of the problem -allu hardcore porsche loyalists only stand by 911 despite its proven outdated rear engine design. no question that porsche have honed the 911 to a super over engineered over reliable machine but u can only push the envelope so far- every time porsche try something different eg 928 or even 996 fried egg headlights, they get shunned by the traditionalists - very hard for the co to come up with new flagship design like that if all u guys cling on to the holy grail (dont get me wrong if owned 911s n i think they are great cars- bullet proof but need to move on)

perhaps my mind IS a little closed for porkers ......

You should give HRE a call.
We used to have the kick the **** out of the wheels. Basically, it will warp while on the car and become impossible to remove from the hub carrier.

Jon, besides the RHD thing, the engine is also different. The USA cars are not carburetors which are the popular versions.

Btw, why is there premium for RHD cars?

No I wasn't using spacers & the bolts were HRE. I guess it's just one of those things.
CKA - thanks for the offer but like you I'm not a fan of the OEM 430 wheels so have taken a differen OEM route ;)
