New place to meet in the Valley

Like I said last week was my first time to the one at 19724 Ventura Blvd. Tarzana,Ca.

so what does this mean everybody is moving to the new one ????

Seems like some people are taking this rather personally. Since when was this a contest? Some people have no class. They don't show up to this great get together for the multiple weeks it has been going on, and now they post a link in this thread to another meet. I don't get it.

 

I was going to exercise my modena. Now a bit confused, both locations have shows?
I need to read a bit more. Haven't read here in a short while.

I agree. That was childish.

 

Shooer asked a very specific question about the locations of the new gatherings (he has asked similar questions on several occasions). When this information finally became available, Modenafan was kind enough to provide an immediate and concise response (without marketing hype). That hardly qualifies as "childish"! Would it have been more "adult" to play "lets pretend" that no one asked a question, and avoid being helpful?

Afterall, we have a great new meeting place, and it's pretty close to where I live.

 

The Coffee Bean location was set up after we were banned from Village Coffee Roasters - El Camino Shopping Center. It seems like Dustin went through a lot of effort to have the new location setup with the blessing of Westfield Management and having a major sponsor such as the Auto Gallery.

As long as we don't need to drive to Northridge, I am ok with this location.

 

The two are close enough for me to swing by both just this once. We'll see what happens. For a while we all felt that the old VCR thing was dead and buried, so people moved on. But this makes the new venue, seem like a temporary fix, and I will probably site these out for a few months until the dust settles and nobody has their panties in a bunch over locations.

Multi levels mall is for shoppings not cars show. Open lots much betters.

 

well vcr on sunday is between 8am-10 am, the stores havent opened up yet, so that shoulndt be a problem

 

this is a big open parking lot with tons of space...its not in a multi level garage

I always thought the Ventura Blvd location seemed tacky for some reason. I had decided not to go there.

I like places where it seems likely that the event will eventually drive the shoppers kooky with the fancy cars everywhere so that management finally says "get lost" - it adds an element of surprise and danger! Just don't ever pick a place with no bathrooms - its a long drive from the OC...
